The photo gallery rehabs on this page are more on the larger scale projects. They needed a lot more than just cosmetics and paint. I have done smaller scale projects but thought the gallery would be more appealing with larger rehabs.

4th Street Rehab - Before Pictures

Before Pictures of 4th Street Rehab Project. This house was full of garbage from the basement to the attic. You could not walk through the house until the trash was removed.

4th Street Rehab - After Pictures

After Pictures of 4th Street Rehab Project. I was happy the way this house came out. It took about 10 large dumpsters to get rid of all the trash around the place. I removed all the radiators and put in forced hot air, finished the attic and partially finished the basement. Pretty much all the walls on the inside were removed, insulated and new sheetrock was installed. I added a half bath on the first floor. The exterior got a new roof (Plywood and Shingles), new windows, doors, deck, gutters, siding, and blacktop driveway. This is as close as you get to a new house! ;-)

8th Street Rehab - Before Pictures

The 8th street rehab was an extremely large project. The whole house needed work from attic to basement. What was really interesting about this house was that the previous owner turned the single family into a rooming house. They put up walls to section off every room in the house. They converted the back enclosed porch into a full bathroom. There was a full bath on every level of the house (there were 4 levels). I converted the house back into a single family home with 6 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. If I had to do it all over again, I would have converted the home into a multifamily property.

8th Street Rehab - During Pictures

These pictures were taken during the rehab process. I actually had pictures before all the walls were as decent but my computer crashed and I lost them. This house was upgraded with a new electrical system, baseboard heating, new windows, all new utility units (broiler, hot water heater, etc.) and so on. The exterior needed new everything....Because my budget was stretched on this project, I did not put new sidewalk or blacktop.

8th Street Rehab - After Pictures

This is the finished product for the 8th street project. I put a little extra in the kitchen because of the price range of the house. I got a good deal on granite countertops, added an under mount sink, new appliances and custom cabinets. The first and second floor had hardwood already so I refinished the second floor but carpeted the first because the first floor had too much damage. I restored the first floor bathroom back to a porch and put a half bath in the sunroom so there would be a bathroom on the first level. This house has 4 bedrooms on the second floor and 2 bedrooms on the 3rd.
